The Past is Up Ahead

Sometimes, getting yourself lost in the countryside is the best thing you can do as a photographer. I think you pay closer attention and notice a lot more detail when you’re not familiar with your location.

I do a lot of circling around and turning around when I’m out taking photos. I like to come at the same thing from different sides and in different light. I probably never would have found this scene had I been intentionally looking for it.

Happy accidents… maybe 90% of why I love taking photographs.
