Heading In

G
rowing up, I spent a lot of time on my Grandfather’s farm. This was my favorite time of day… the chores were done, everyone was heading in from the fields or the woods and dinner was already on the stove.

Everyone was hungry after a long day outside working or playing and there was nothing like the smell of good, fresh farm food.

I wish the moon would have shown up a little larger in this photo, but it is what it is. I actually shot this one with the Canon 100mm macro lens. It works quite well for landscapes too, and since it’s an f/2.8, it works well for lower light conditions.
