Golden Lines

There is no way to success in art
but to take off your coat,
grind paint,
and work like a digger on the railroad,
all day and every day

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

What intrigued me about this scene was the way the yellow birch trees mimic the yellow train cars… both laid out in a straight line, disappearing into the distance. Ideally, the train cars and the trees would have been at the same height to better show this mimicking, but this is what I could capture, short of getting up above everything and shooting down on it.
