Through The Trees

Dusk, is just an illusion, because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are; there cannot be one without the other, yet they cannot exist at the same time. I managed to drop and break my 70-200mm last week and have been lost without it. So, my telephoto of choice is now my 100mm macro lens. Actually, it doesn’t do too bad of a job and the 100mm range works well for most landscape shots.

This shot was taken at ISO 1000… one of those mistakes you still kick yourself for weeks later. I forgot to switch back after taking some indoor shots the day before. I took a few shots this same evening that could have been print-worthy, but now look too noisy to be of much use. I did some noise reduction on this shot and may try one print just to see what happens.
