2009 Challenge 4/365 – Books

Day four of the 2009 Photo Challenge… today’s subject was “books”. The book used in the photo is the book that accompanied the Ken Burns “Jazz” series.

I used two light sources for this one. A small flashlight is propped up against the bottom of the spine, illuminating the gold type. Another florescent strip light is laying on the opposite side of the book, shining up through the pages. The rest of the room was completely dark.
