2009 Challenge 53/365 – B&W: Tree

Day 53 – “B&W: Tree”
312 days to go…

I have been incredibly busy the past couple weeks and have missed a few assignments – I am telling myself now that I will go back and finish all of the missed assignments… we’ll see.

What have I been up to? Well, work has been pretty busy lately – I just finished up an install of a project we have been working on for quite a while. I put together a video of the process… take a look •here. It has sound, so turn up the speakers.

This next week will be even more busy as I leave for Vegas on Tuesday for a trade show and a couple classes. Hopefully, the assignments this next week will be focused around lights, gambling, alcohol and other vices… at least I’ll have a good excuse.

We had some very heavy snow for a bit yesterday – the heavy, late winter kind that comes down in clumps instead of flakes. Beautiful to look at, difficult to shoot through. But really, if it were easy, what would be the point? I could, right now, put together a pretty hefty book of tree photographs in my collection, but I don’t do black and white as much as I should. I have noticed that a lot of really good black and whites tend to flop on flickr, so I post the color ones there and save the black and whites on the hard drive.
