2009 Challenge 96/365 – Liquid

Like oil and water, as the saying goes… My original idea was to get a shot of oil pouring into a container of water but I couldn’t pour and focus at the same time.

So, the photo ended up being a shot looking down at the oil-slicked water surface. Lighting made all of the difference in this shot – a lamp directed through the glass jar holding the water, below the level of the water.
