Firefox Color Management

Did you recently upgrade to Firefox 3 and now notice that the photos you are uploading to your Flickr account just don’t look right? The colors are a little off and not as vivid as they look outside of your browser?

Well, there’s a reason for that – by default, Firefox’s color management is disabled.
So what do you do? Enable it! It’s really pretty easy… here’s how:

• In your Firefox 3 address bar, type this: about:config

• Click through the warning screen

• Scroll down to this line: gfx.color_management.enabled
Double click on that line until it reads, “true

• Restart Firefox 3

That’s it – the colors in your photos should now look closer to the way you intended them to.
